To strengthen our Quality & Safety Department, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager.

Position Summary

The Compliance Monitoring & Safety Manager is responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving the Company’s Compliance Monitoring System (CMS) and Safety Management System (SMS). The role ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and international aviation standards, while promoting a proactive safety culture across all operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Monitoring

• Develop, implement and maintain the Compliance Monitoring System in accordance with EASA Part-CAMO, Part-145, Air Operations and Part Aerodrome requirements.
• Plan, perform and report internal audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Monitor adherence to regulatory changes and ensure timely update of procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant department managers to develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
• Ensure continuous conformity with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System).

Safety Management

• Manage and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) in line with EASA and ICAO requirements.
• Oversee hazard identification, risk assessment, safety investigations, and safety performance monitoring.
• Chair or participate in Safety Review Board meetings and promote safety reporting culture.
• Conduct safety training, awareness sessions, and performance evaluation.

General

• Serve as designated Postholder for Compliance and/or Safety, subject to approval by the Aviation Authority.
• Act as primary point of contact for competent authorities and external auditors (CAA, EASA, ISO, customers, etc.).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and organizational safety & quality objectives.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in aviation, engineering, quality management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation compliance, safety, or quality management.
• Proven experience within an EASA-regulated environment (CAMO, Part-145, AOC, Aerodrome).
• Auditor qualification for ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of a relevant sample of the type(s) of aircraft gained through a formalized training course.
• Knowledge of maintenance methods.
• Demonstrated knowledge of:
  • EASA Part-CAMO, Part-145, Part-ORO / Air Operations, Part Aerodrome
  • ICAO Annex 19 (Safety Management)
  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with authorities, auditors, and senior management.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
