MI 8 AMT is a multifunctional helicopter with TV3 117 engine and VR 114 reduction gear is the state-of-the-art modification of Mi 8 / M -17, manufactured by Ulan-Ude aircraft manufacturing plant.
MI 8 AMT helicopter is designed to transport passengers and cargo including transportation of large-sized cargos by the externally mounted hooks, to perform search and rescue operations and evacuation of casualties. This model can be manufactured in a range of configurations:

Construction of MI 8 AMT helicopter is similar to that of Mİ -8MT. MI 8 AMT is destined to carry up to 26 passengers in comfortable seats. MI 8 AMT cargo and passenger-carrying configuration of helicopter is capable to transport around 2000 kg of cargo along with passengers.
